1. What does a curl-defining brush do?

It helps distribute product evenly through curls, break up clumps just enough to reduce frizz, and encourage more uniform curl formation without brushing curls out completely.


2. Should I use it on wet or dry hair?

Wet hair, freshly washed hair with product (conditioner, curl cream, or gel) still in. Using it on dry hair usually causes frizz and disrupts the curl pattern.


3. Will it make my hair frizzy?

Brushing dry hair or hair without enough product tends to cause frizz; used correctly on wet, product-coated hair, it should enhance definition instead.


4. How often should I use it?

Typically just on wash days, during the styling process. Repeated brushing can loosen curl definition and increase frizz over time.


5. What products should I use with it?

Leave-in conditioner, curl cream, or gel applied before brushing. The brush is used to distribute the product through sections of hair, not as a substitute for product.
